The family and friends of the late Mrs Maria Merenda are advised that the Funeral Mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 19 Penfield Road, Virginia on Thursday, July 16, at 11:00 am.

Following Funeral Mass the Cortege will proceed to Smithfield Memorial Park Cemetery for the Committal.

Death Notice

MERENDA, Maria (née Deluca)

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving
family on July 5, 2026.
Aged 89 years.

Born in Sant’Angelo di Brolo, Prov. Messina, Sicilia,
Italia and was the loving Wife of the late Guiseppe.
Maria is deeply loved and will always be remembered
with love by her children Carmela, Rosario,
Francesco, Guiseppina, Pasqua, Annemarie,
Anthony, their Partners, her many Grandchildren,
her Great-Grandchildren and her many friends.

Sadly missed by all both in Australia and Italy.
