The family and friends of the late Mr Dimitrios (Jim) Karaiskos are advised that his Funeral Service will be conducted at St. Anthony’s Greek Orthodox Church, 65 Milner Street, Prospect, on Friday, June 5, at 10:00 am.

At the conclusion of the service the Cortege will proceed to Enfield Memorial Park Cemetery for the Committal.

Passed away peacefully
22nd May 2026.
Aged 96 years.
It is with deep sadness and
heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of
Dimitrios (Jim) Karaiskos,
born in Vlahatano, Epirus,
Greece, January 6, 1930.
Devoted and loving Husband
of the late Victoria (Vito) for 64 years.
Much loved Father and
Father-in-Law of
Anna and Peter, Katarina and Con,
Bill and Sue, and Matthew (deceased).
Cherished and adored Grandfather (Pappou)
of Natalie, Yvette, Melissa, Dena,
John, Spiro, Georgina, Amelia
and their respective partners.
Treasured Great-Grandfather of
Victoria, Azalia, Dimitrios, Eleanna,
Poppy, Peter, Elyssia and Eden.
Loving Godfather of Cathy.
We thank God for the gift of his
amazing life, for his kindness and
caring nature and how much of himself
he gave towards blessing the family.
We will all remember his sense
of humour and cheeky laugh.
We had many blessed times
together and he will be greatly
missed by family and friends
in Australia and Greece.
Now in God’s care.

your family together, and the love and
