The current COVID-19 pandemic has caused a number of changes in the community and this includes funeral services. A time of death is inevitably a time of trial and stress for family and friends.
At Alfred James we are here to help, guide and advise at this difficult time. The funeral service is an important element in acknowledging a family’s loss and grief. In our current climate, Alfred James is still able to arrange and conduct funerals with limited restrictions. Each funeral is arranged to meet the needs and wishes of the deceased’s family and friends. This has always been the case and continues to be our approach when conducting a funeral. However, we have made some slight changes to comply with the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure we are doing everything possible to limit the impact to a funeral service, family and staff. We ask that if you are unwell, that you do not attend the funeral service.
Live-streaming of the funeral service can be organised to allow Mourners who cannot attend to be apart of the service.
